Helmut Perlet

Since 1997 Dr. Helmut Perlet is the Chief Financial Officer of the international financial services provider Allianz SE, Munich.

Starting his career at the Munich tax authorities in 1971, Dr. Perlet joined the Allianz Tax Department in 1973 where he established and managed the Foreign Tax unit. In 1990 he became head of the Corporate Finance department which he led until 1992 when he took over the Group Accounting, Planning and Controlling department. Since 1997 he is the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) within Allianz SE's Board of Management.

Dr. Perlet holds a degree in Business Administration of the University of Munich and a doctorate of the University of Hamburg.
