Beth Brooke
Vice Chair – Strategy and Regulatory Affairs, Ernst & Young

Beth Brooke is Vice Chair – Strategy and Regulatory Affairs with Ernst & Young. Beth plays a leading role in setting the strategic direction of the Ernst & Young organization around the world, and in shaping its position on critical matters of public policy. Beth is a strong advocate for the profession's public responsibility to the financial markets, including considering how the accounting profession can help maintain investor confidence in the world's capital markets.

Beth has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the "The World's 100 Most Powerful Women" and Accounting Today as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting". A former advisor to the Clinton Administration, Beth worked within the US Department of Treasury on significant policy issues. She has also served as Ernst & Young's US National Director of Tax Advisory Services, and worked with a number of major clients in the insurance, financial services and healthcare industries. A CPA and a Fellow of the Life Management, Beth has a BS degree from Purdue University in Indiana.

Based in Washington, Beth is involved in numerous civic and business organizations. She serves on the boards of TechnoServe, The White House Project, The Atlantic Council of the United States, the Partnership for Public Service, the Advisory Council for the Open Compliance and Ethics Group, and the National Women's Leadership Hall of Fame Advisory Council. A member of the inaugural class of Henry Crown Fellows of the Aspen Institute, Beth is also a member of the Committee for Economic Development.
